A note from your President
Tampa Bay Women in Tourism is a not-for-profit networking organization where Tampa Bay professional business women meet on the third Friday of every month to enjoy lunch and an afternoon of networking at member venues located around Tampa Bay.
While "shop talk" is always on the agenda, one of the main focuses of Tampa Bay Women in Tourism networking events is to foster relationships; encouraging growth within our industry and your business.
Our board members are strictly volunteer based and we thank these wonderful women for their time, experience and enthusiasm to make Tampa Bay Women in Tourism a leading networking event for not only those directly involved with our industry (i.e. venues, tour operators, etc.) but the suppliers to the industry.
Tampa Bay Women in Tourism contributes to not-for-profits organizations in Tampa Bay with funds raised throughout the year at our networking luncheons through raffle ticket sales at the monthly luncheons. With the generosity of our industry, Tampa Bay Women in Tourism is able to provide annual donations to organizations seeking assistance, donations are presented following our November luncheon to the charity of the year. For 2022 the charity of the year was the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay The center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as the community’s gateway to help. People who are struggling with a variety of crisis situations including sexual assault or abuse, domestic violence, financial distress, substance abuse, medical emergency, suicidal thoughts and other emotional or situational problems can connect to hope and healing.
We thank everyone who attends our networking events as a member, guest, speaker or sponsor. Your door prize donations each month provide much needed funds to our local charities.
In addition to our monthly luncheons, we encourage networking through our featured events and regular gatherings at industry events in Tampa Bay.
